Day 438: Pushing My Abs Even Harder

I just barely missed hitting my sleep goal today by 5 measly minutes. I blame that on waking up twice during the night. I had a really tough time waking up this morning, staying asleep for 5-7 minutes after my alarm started going off. That never happens to me. I always pop out of bed the second the alarm starts going off, wanting to turn silence it before it wakes Laura up since she sleeps for another hour.

Day 436: Burpee Ladders

It was a great feeling to nail my sleep goal for another night last night. That will, unfortunately, come to an end tonight since I have to wake up at 4:45a to bring Adrian to the airport. I wanted to be back home before Adrian woke up and before Laura left for work so I swapped my Wednesday workout this week to today. Though a quick burpee ladder, it was an effective workout to torch my legs.

Day 433: Surpassing 16,000 Steps for a Friday

After such a late night the previous night I was happy to fall asleep by around 10:00p including reading for 15-20 minutes beforehand. When I woke up I headed over to the gym for a quick 20 minute elliptical session. I had originally planned on either doing the Spartan WOD or a longer elliptical session but wanted to make sure I got back home before Laura left and Adrian woke up.

Day 428: A Sunday Filled with Errands and Cleaning

I was able to string together another 8 hours of sleep last night including getting nearly 5 hours of deep sleep. After not getting more than 2.5 hours of deep sleep during my eighth round of chemo, this weekend was nice to get my sleep back on track. I went to the gym this morning with the goal of beating what I was able to do for the HIIT routine that I tackled on Thursday.
