Day 283: Almost Fully Recovered from Synergy
I’m feeling almost fully recovered from Synergy but still dragging a bit. Another full night of sleep tonight and I’ll feel back to normal.
The past two days have been filled with figuring out everything that hasn’t gotten done over the last few weeks once we had Synergy-only tunnel vision leading up to the event…and then starting to tackle it all.
As expected, my legs were barely functional all day even though I continued to force myself to take the stairs and get up to walk around throughout the day.
I worked through my shoulder mobilizations before my workout. After a few days of getting back to the stretches, my shoulders are doing better.
I’m seeing an increase in my range of motion and both internal and external rotation.
Today’s workout was 400m repeats and burpees:
Warm Up
- Jump Rope – 2 minutes
- 15 Push Ups
- 10 Star Jumps
Main Set
- Run 400 meters
- 10 burpees
- Recover 2 minutes
- 10 burpees
- Run 400 meters
- Recover 2 minutes
Repeat x 2
The workout allowed for a range of 10-30 burpees and 2-3 sets. Since my legs were so sore I only did 10 burpees per round.
By the end of the second set I could barely breathe and my skin was on fire so I decided not to try pushing myself through the final set.
While Laura was making dinner I took time to catch up even more on my inbox, which is a very scary place after last week.
Tonight I’m looking forward to relaxing even more, allowing my body to recover and getting additional rest for another busy day tomorrow.
