Day 271: Feeling More Nauseous Than Previously

I woke up once in the middle of the night and felt a bit off when I first stood up but I wasn’t awake long enough for anything to set in.

When I woke up this morning it was the most nauseous I have felt during chemo so far. It took several minutes of taking slow, deep breaths for the nausea to subside.

I believe the reason for the nausea was that I woke up at my normal time of 6:00a instead of letting my body wake up without an alarm.

Since the nausea went away relatively quickly, I decided to head into my office for the day with the internal agreement that if I started to not feel well, that I would come home earlier than usual. I brought my anti-nausea medication with me just in case as well.

I powered through the day without any issues. I think using my standing desk helped to keep my body active and not let any fatigue set in.

It was another busy day preparing for Synergy next week but I did have more time to focus on other projects and paperwork.

Thursdays are typically a rest day from working out so when I got home I just crashed on the couch while waiting for Laura to come home. I was more fatigued than I realized but not enough to take a nap.

Tomorrow I will be working from home so I will let my body naturally wake up. I’m hoping that I won’t feel as nauseous in the morning as I did today. Luckily, even if I do, it goes away in a few minutes.

The outpouring of support that we received last night on the photo that I posted was overwhelming. Thank you so much for continuing to follow us on this journey.
