Day 392: Starting the Book Writing Process
It was a beautifully cool evening for sleeping with temperatures hovering around 55 degrees. With a window fan blowing and another fan pointed at me, I loved every minute of it.
Sasha and Darren woke me up by 6:30a since they don’t understand the difference between the work week and the weekends.
My upper back, shoulders and biceps were sore from my lifting session followed by all of the burpees I completed yesterday.
My workout this morning was rounds of running followed by burpees:
Warm-Up
- Dynamic stretching
- Jog - 5 minutes
Main Set
- Run (10 min/mile) - 5 minutes
- Burpees - 10 reps
- Repeat x6
Cool Down
Including the warm-up I completed a total of 3.3 miles and a total of 60 burpees.
I could have pushed myself through another couple of rounds but was closely monitoring my right ankle, shin and knee since I have had issues with all three over the last few weeks.
With the 49ers Rush race coming up in two weeks from today I didn’t want to do anything that would prevent me from running in the race.
While waiting for Laura to wake up I reached out to a friend who is in the book industry to start the process of working on the Built Unstoppable book.
Writing a book is a long process but I am excited to have started taking the steps to getting the story published.
I took Laura over to see my office since she has never seen where I work beyond dropping me off outside of the building before.
We then went over for lunch at Bourbon Pub at Levi’s Stadium. It’s a delicious restaurant that I usually have business lunches/drinks at but had never gone there with Laura before.
We really enjoy Bourbon Steak in San Francisco so I was glad that we were able to go to Bourbon Pub together.
Though we had seen it in the theaters, we decided to pick up "Kingsman: The Secret Service” to watch during the late afternoon before having leftovers and binging on The Office tonight.
