Day 395: Flying to Cleveland for Content Marketing World

When I woke up in the middle of the night I was a bit dizzy when I stood up because I didn’t sit on the edge of the bed for a second before getting up.

I didn’t have much of an appetite when I woke up - nothing unusual for the week of chemo and it would continue throughout the day though I did force myself to eat.

I have only traveled once during a week on chemo and that was only for the final dose of that round.

This round I am traveling for three out of the five nights so we’ll see how my body deals with the additional grind of travel and being at conferences.

I didn’t feel great on my flights to Cleveland and continued not feeling well for a couple hours after landing. It took me to get into my hotel room and rest for a bit before I really started feeling better.

My only guess is that it’s from the cabin pressure and the turbulence that we hit on the PHX to CLE leg of the trip.

Before the turbulence started I was able to catch up with my team, crush through my inbox, review the questions for my panel tomorrow and work on my Bold talk more.

Though I didn’t go outside to explore tonight, Cleveland has a beautiful downtown area that I was really impressed by as I was being driven to the hotel.

As a LeBron James fan, it was cool driving by the massive poster that sits outside the Quicken Loans Arena.

I was able to have dinner relatively quickly after getting settled in my room to help me get adjusted to taking my chemo on EST while I’m in Cleveland and Boston.

I didn’t get a chance to workout today due to traveling but I am planning on getting in something quick in my room tonight before falling asleep.

I am looking forward to seeing so many friends over the next few days, several of whom I haven’t seen since in-person since my surgeries and others whom I have only had the chance to see once or twice since then.
