It took a lot longer than expected to check out of the hospital but we are back home now. I'm settled in bed and we have the polar ice packs hooked back up to my shoulders. 

The ride home was as rough as we anticipated. I'll have to make that same trek daily for the next week and a half. I'll get used to it plus my shoulders will continue to heal more every day. 

Darren was a typical cat, caring more about all of the bags and containers that came home from the hospital. Sasha, on the other hand, lost her mind when we let her into the bedroom to say hi. We're keeping her outside the bedroom for now and will slowly reintroduce her. 

Pizza has been ordered and Netflix is powering up.
